The Pascal PX IP65 UCFF housing (Intel NUC) in detail
The sockets for LAN, HDMI, USB and the power supply from an external power supply unit are hidden at the back. Akasa even includes appropriate waterproof cables for operation in wet environments. A front made of brushed aluminum makes the black Akasa Pascal a restrained and yet dead-chic contemporary, which also fits perfectly into any hi-fi landscape as an HTPC dwelling.
Fanless cooled and waterproof
The top and outer edges are almost completely provided with cooling fins made of aluminum, which makes sense because the housing itself is the cooler and does not need a fan. This means that the NUC system works completely silently in the Akasa Pascal PX. To do this, the CPU comes into direct contact with special contact surfaces on the housing. The waste heat then reaches the housing walls evenly via the heatsink plates and is released into the environment via the fins - absolutely silent!
Thermal paste is included for ideal heat transfer. In addition, there are mainboard screws, all other necessary mounting materials as well as a waterproof HDMI, USB 2.0 and network cable and, last but not least, a waterproof barrel connector extension in the scope of delivery.
