Alphacool Heatmaster is the complete solution for all measuring and controlling scenarios in the area of PC's. It can protect your computer from damages through overheating due to breakdowns of the fan, the pump or the flow-through (Ex. snapped off tube). Three timely staggered alarm levels, consisting of visual and acoustic alarms with the respective level depended alarm tones:
Level 1 : Warns and switches on all fans and pumps with 100 percent performance
Level 2 : The second tone sequence notifies the main board BIOS about the failure
of the CPU's fan so that preventive measures can be triggered
Level 3 : The third tone sequel signals the upcoming complete shutdown of the PC
System
These functions are easily configurable. You can for example, switch other machines through the Heatmaster relays in case of an emergency.
*Upon complete configuration of the Heatmaster, it will control and monitor your fans, pumps and temperature, completely independent from your PC. You don't need any software or even the USB cable. Thus there will be no resource wastage of processing time and RAM, no active driver, no loss of frames in your games. An external use for your own private project is herewith possible.
If you want to utilize the Heatmaster especially for measuring purposes, there are three distinct features: Through the Heatmaster software Delta-t, you can display figures of the temperature sensors directly and save in a Log-Folder. You can enter values from the manufactures data for temperature sensors (Nominal resistance (Rn) at 25° and the Beta- value) to improve the measurement accuracy, or even enter self ascertained values. But even without these measures the Heatmaster consists of a Beta-correction value, which has been determined through several standard sensors thus increasing basic accuracy.
With the Heatmaster software, we are dealing with user friendly and still extensive controlling software, which enables all the necessary steps to be taken on a user interface to set up one control loop with Drag & Drop. Simply drag with the mouse the desired device (sensor, fan, pump, relays or alarm buzzer) into the five possible control loops, configure the devices by placing ticks and the entering of the desired temperature, RPM and PWM values. You do not need to do anything more. You can let the resolved settings to be displayed on the screen at any time. The software is already executable with the up to date RC of Windows 7.
