These fittings are designed to work with any 1/2 in. OD rigid tubing including PETG, PMMA, and Copper tubing.
Base side is female and is compatible with male G1/4 thread.

Although aluminum is used for the outside compression ring, no aluminum comes in direct contact with the fluid so mix metal corrosion is not an issue.
