The tubes are very strong with a wall thickness of 0.8 mm, but they're still thin enough to be cut and installed without great effort. Alphacool offers the brass HardTubes in chrome and black, straight and pre-bent, and in various sizes. The chrome plating or painting is extremely durable. Scratches and chipping are only to be expected in the event of strong force. When cutting the pipes, make sure to smooth cut edges with a fine grit sandpaper or the Alphacool Strong Guy pipe and hose deburrer, as sharp edges can damage the O-rings of fittings.
